Recently, seven skunks were captured in Kildare — and Donald Trump is coming to Ireland next week. Was this an Irish welcoming committee?
When interviewed, they only gave their names: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, Dopey.
Grumpy Skunk says there will be a terrible stink when Orangeman arrives. Dopey is looking forward to some good company.
It seems the seven are illegal aliens. On behalf of the seven, Doc claimed regularisation of their immigration status. Sleepy slept through initial interviews and subsequent court appearance. Sneezy was detained at a police station in Carlow and kept in isolation.
Bashful seemed to let the cat out of the bag when he informed an undercover official that the seven are the security advance party. Their task was to make their way to Doonbeg and blend in.
Happy Skunk took the Fifth Amendment, all the while listening to “The Magnificent Seven” on Spotify.
Shorty afterwards an official spokesperson was unconcerned. “They’ve clearly not kissed the Blarney Stone yet,” he said. “Give them time. Once they have the gift of the gab, we’ll know everything.”

Further update, Paddy. If you scuscribed on my website and get email updates, when you’re in Reader you need to switch on Reader updates. Here’s how…. Manage, then find my sire, click gear icon and turn on “Notify me of new posts”. Very likely the email option is already turned on.

I am experiencing the same problem. Your posts are not appearing in my reader. As you know I tried unsubscribing and then subscribing again, but that hasn’t worked.
As to Trump, I would love to see him locked up in a dank windowless room with a continuously dripping tap. For eternity.

Totally agree with you about Trump and the lessons around democracy. Historically, however, this is the third time that the U.S. has tried tariff coercion to try to force annexation on us. This country will probably never trust them again, unfortunately.

WP is open-source and somewhat prone to glitching because of all the third party bits that have been incorporated. You may have to get the happiness engineers to take a look.
